Step 1. Investigation / Step 2. Design / Step 3. Installation / Step 4. Start Up / Step 5. OM&M
Since no one really knows how far into the future that a newly installed Vapor Intrusion Mitigation System (VIMS) will need to be operational and states are requiring Operations, Maintenance and Monitoring (OM&M) plans to accompany the installation of a Vapor Intrusion System, it is important that the commissioning of each system be accompanied by a plan that provides for maintenance, monitoring and extended service. After your Clean Vapor mitigation system has been balanced for maximum efficiency and gauges and alarm panels have been installed, a custom OM&M plan and inspection schedule is developed that is in compliance with the technical guidance required by the state where the system is installed. Often an annual riser pipe soil gas sampling plan is integrated with the OM&M plan. This enables the consultant and owner to track the depletion of soil contaminants, annually balance the system for maximum effectiveness and provides documentation to support the eventual decommissioning of the system.
Clean Vapor also offers the option to install Dynamic Controls along with Active Monitoring and Management which will enable mitigation systems to automatically self-adjust for maximum performance and energy efficiency. We also provide real time off-site monitoring, packaged quarterly reports, and the ability to make necessary adjustments and changes to the system’s performance remotely.
